Walnut Paste Dessert Recipe

I don't have a sweet tooth for dessert. Usually I will skip it or continue with my main course while my family and friends are busy enjoying their sweet sweet dessert. Perhaps due to my small frame, I do not have a big stomach.. hahaha. Moreover I am pretty health conscious. Walnuts is rich in antioxidant, phytonutrients, omega-3 fatty acids, anti-cancer properties and a lot more health benefits. Walnuts is a vital ingredients not to miss. Start adding Walnuts to your diet for a healthier you.
Walnut Paste at the comfort of Home-Sweet-Home, I get to control the level of sweetness to my preference. Finally put my Wedding Bowl into good use again. I'm so happy.

Ingredients:

• Pandan Water 2 Cups (Approximately 600ml)
• Fresh Milk 2 Cups (Approximately 600ml)
• Walnuts 200g
• Grains 1/4 Cup (*I mixed 3 types of grains. White Rice, Brown Rice and White Quinoa.)
• Rock Sugar 4 tbsp (*Add accordingly to personal liking.)

Wash, Rinse and Drain Walnuts and Grains.

I mixed 3 types of grains in ratio 1:1. White Rice, Brown Rice and White Quinoa by Superlife Co.

Break the Walnuts into smaller pieces. Heat Pan, add Walnuts. Toss over medium heat for a few minutes until you smell the fragrant nutty Walnuts. Ready to add to Song-Cho Soup Maker!

How to get Pandan Water?

Boil water with pandan leaf for about 10 minutes.

After 10 minutes. Leave it to cool. Ready to add to Song-Cho Soup Maker.

Using Song-Cho Soup Maker to make Walnut Paste Dessert...

Add Roasted Walnuts, Grains, Rock Sugar, Milk and Pandan Water. You can adjust the ratio of water to milk according to your liking. Same for the amount of Rock Sugar, my advice is to add less Rock Sugar, if it's not sweet enough than you can add on later.

Make sure the load is above 1300ml, below 1500ml. Select "Paste" mode, press "Start". Song-Cho Soup Maker is fully automated. Walnut Paste Dessert will be ready in about 25 minutes.

Texture of the completed Walnut Paste Dessert is smooth with slight residue. To achieve a smoother texture paste, you can either sieve it before serving or use a blender to blend the Walnuts into very fine powder before loading to Song-Cho Soup Maker to cook it.
